UGC NET
On June 18, 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) held two shifts of the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination in the OMR (pen and paper) format in various locations around the nation.
The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), a division of the Ministry of Home Affairs, provided the University Grants Commission (UGC) with certain examination-related feedback on June 19, 2024. These prima-facie inputs suggest that there may have been a compromise to the integrity of the previously mentioned examination.The Ministry of Education, Government of India, has decided to cancel the UGC-NET June 2024
Examination in order to maintain the greatest degree of openness and the integrity of the examination process.
Information will be supplied separately for a new examination that will be done. Concurrently, the case is being turned over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (C.B.I.) so that it may be thoroughly investigated.
