Qualifications for Teaching  and Non-Teaching Post-  CUH Recruitment 2024

Assistant Professor Level - l0 

  • Master’s Degree in relevant branch with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and must have cleared NET conducted by UGC or a similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET. 
  • Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree following UGC Ph.D. regulations 2009 may be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET.  Further, a relaxation of 5% of marks shall be provided (from 55% to 50%) to all the Ph.D. Degree holders who have obtained their Master’s Degree before September 19, 1991.  
  • Appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges / Institutions subject to the fulfilment of the following conditions:-
  •   Ph.D. degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only; 
  •  Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners; 
  • An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate had been conducted; 
  •  Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least one must be in a refereed journal; 
  •  Candidate has made at least two presentations in conference fulfillment/seminars, based on his/her Ph.D. work.
  • NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET

Associate Professor: Level - l3A 
 Eligibility: 
  •  Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines. 
  •  A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed). 
  •  A minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a University, College, or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed/UGC listed journals and a total research score of Seventy-Five (75) as per the criteria.
  •  Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology–mediated teaching-learning process.  
Professor: Level-14
 Eligibility:
  •   An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed/ UGC listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria.
  •  A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at an equivalent level at the University/National level institutions/industries with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate. 
  •  Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology–mediated teaching-learning process. 
  •   OR An outstanding professional with a Ph.D. in relevant/allied/applied disciplines from academics/research institutions/industries, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline to be substantiated with documentary evidence. 

Deputy Registrar Level – 12, Group – A 01 UR; 01 OBC 

Essential: 

  • Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed 
  • . Nine years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 10 and above with experience in educational administration OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education OR Five years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or an equivalent post. 
  •  Desirable: Relevant Experience in the areas of Establishment/ Examinations/ Finance. 
  •  Age Limit: 55 years 
Hindi Officer Level-10, Group-A 01 UR 
Essential: 
  • Master's degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
  • Three years’ experience in using/ applying terminology (terminological work) in Hindi and translation work from English to Hindi or vice-versa, preferably of technical or scientific literature under Central/ State Governments/ Autonomous Bodies/ Statutory Organizations/ PSUs/ Universities or recognized research or educational institutions; 
  • Desirable: Studied one of the languages other than Hindi included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution at the 10th level from a recognized board.
  •  Age Limit: 40 years

System Analyst Level-10, Group-A 01 UR 
Essential: 
  • Good Academic Record with at least 55% marks in any of the following Qualifications: B.E./B. Tech. in Electronics Engineering OR Computer Science Engineering OR Information Technology from a recognized University with 5 years’ relevant experience M.Sc. with PGDCA with 6 years’ relevant experience OR M.C.A. with 5 years’ relevant experience. 
  • Age Limit: 40 years
