NTA UGC NET JUNE 2020
The National Test Agency has released UGC NET June Exam Schedule Dates and Admit card . UGC NET Exam is going to held from 24th September . Admit cards for exams to be held on October have been released and the rest will be released accordingly, as per the official notice.
How To Download Admit Card- The candidate can login through APPLICATION NUMBER and DATE OF BIRTH.
The Examination shall be conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT) only.
Pattern: The Test will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of objective type, multiple
choice questions. There will be no break between papers and total time is 3hours.

The questions in Paper I intends to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
PaperII This is based on the subject selected by the candidate and will assess domain knowledge.
- The eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ or for ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ will depend on the performance of the candidate in both the papers of UGC-NET in aggregate.
- The candidates qualifying exclusively for Assistant Professor will not be considered for the award of JRF.
- Candidates appearing in UGC-NET should thoughtfully select in the Application Form whether they are applying for ‘Assistant Professor’ or ‘Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor’.
- Candidates who qualify the Test for eligibility for Assistant Professor will be governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of AssistantProfessor of the concerned universities/colleges/State governments, as the case may be.
- The candidates who qualify for the award of JRF are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible for Assistant Professor.
